E71 screen replaced, now all dark and pixelated *video*

Hi all.

I am trying to fix an E71 at the moment which was dropped, and as a result caused the LCD screen to be cracked inside and not display anything at all.

I have purchased a replacement screen from eBay. It was listed as 'Genuine Nokia', but I am not convinced as it came in a bag saying 'Gangjia Brand' on it and looks slightly different to the original.

Anyway, I thought I'd give it a go, all installed correctly etc.

When I turn the phone on the screen lights up really bright white, but then once the startup animation happens, and the phone actually turns on the screen is barely readable. It looks very dark and of a very low resolution with odd shapes and lines all over it.

I was wondering if this was a more serious problem than the screen maybe? or if I should send this screen back and try a different one? I have a feeling its a cheap non original despite stating its '100% genuine Nokia'

Please see the video for what I mean:

Any ideas?
