Hi,
I am having N97mini... I wanted to format the phone so before formating took full backup on to my PC then formated using *#7370# then asked for security code entered 12345 then phone restarted every thing fresh.. Now I tried to restore only contacts, messages and calendar notes from my backup... finally it gives me a message ' not enough memory... not able to restore all the content... restart the phone and try restore again.... I have only 230 simple messages, contacts max 300 nothing much... I dont know why its saying not enough memory...

what is the problem? I can i restore ? can I restore to mass memory instead of phone memory? is there any way to restore?

Hi sprao,

Yes - restore onto Mass Memory.

I think most people who have / had a N97 classic would have restored to mass memory and NOT the phone's memory. Most N97 users would have stored all contacts and messages onto E or F drives, not onto C, and I would guess this is also the case with N97 Mini.

Having said all of that, I actually found the phone much better after I did a hard re-set, and then would always restore from data on the memory card. But you might want to consider not doing a full automatic restore, just restore the contacts and possibly messages if you need them. THe phone should probably be far more responsive.

Good Luck.
