w for work; h for home; but what about mobile ?

when you have more than one telephone number assigned to a contact e.g. work, home and mobile number, P800 lists them with a suffix like (w), (h). Ironically, for mobile, it is also listed as (w). Why ?

(H) and (W) are not to recognize the mobile or phone this is to know home or work, to know phone or mobile the icon will be the correct thing.

Check when receive a call from mobile a mobile icon is ther, while if received a call from phone a normal phone icon

Thanks

is there any way to set the default no. to Mobile (H). It seems to default to Phone(w) and Mobile(w).

There is a (w) and a (h) for each phone "catagory". When you are adding or editing a contact, click on the down arrow icon next to the phone number you are entering for the pull down menu, and there you can choose "Phone" (w) or (h), "Mobile" (w) or (h), "Fax" (w) or (h), or "Email" (w) or (h). 😃

iBall, to set the default numbet to mobile home, I think you have to do it individually.

Go to the contact and edit it, then select edit and show in list. I hope this is what you were asking.
