I just brought an E71 that I picked up really cheap. Its got a couple of issues though.
The first thing is that the lights underneath the keypad don't work 100%. The central lights don't come on at all and the bottom ones near the space bar come on intermittently. Any ideas?
Secondly I'm having trouble connecting it to my computer. I'm using a CA101 cable and my girlfriends e63 connects perfectly with no trouble. My e71 however just tells me the device could not be configured and PC suite does not recognize it. I have tried manually installing the drivers and reinstall a heap of times. I have tried multiple PCs including a fresh windows 7 installation.
The guy I got it from said he had unbranded the phone but thats all. It is originally a vodafone(australia) branded e71-1.
