i want to connect my p800 with my PC via buetooth but i have faced some problems
i serched alot about this problem in this forum and i found the solution
the problem is that i here

i use windows XP PRO SP1
and a widcomm bluetooth driver
PLEASE HELP I WAS SEARCHING IN THIS FORUM FOR A SOLUTION FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS BUT I COULD NOT FIND THE EXACT ANSWER
Sounds like it hasn't installed the virtual serial ports for some reason..
Reinstall the software that came with your bluetooth adapter again and see if it makes any difference.
i reinstalled it 3 or 4 times but it doesnt work :evil:

Try moving it to abother USB port and reinstall it there.
I had the same problem using the bluetooth from 3com usb , it as well never worked for me until i bought another brand, now i have like 8 bluetooth ports. It may be best for you to exchange that unit.
I have the same problem with my MSI-BT adapter. I found out that the MSI-BT and my internal 'Intel-chip' based modem don't work well together. When I delete the drivers for my modem, the BT works ok. Maybe it is the same type of conflict in your computer.

BUT there is only one small problem :evil:
i dont know how to start surfing the web via bluetooth using my dail up internet connection
i connected my phone with my PC via bluetooth and i connected the dail up connection but i could not surf the web 😞
i searched in the forum for the EXACT settings for the internet connection and i found some topics which explane the internet settings BUT non of them worked 😞
i use a proxy in my dail up, is this the problem or what??
and i use opera browser

I've been having trouble getting the MSI USB BT adapter to work under XP Pro with my P800. However, after seeing betatester's post, I also uninstalled my Intel PCI modem, and suddenly everything sprang into life and I could see the BT com ports in the link properties window.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else has similar problems!
