I have successfully downloaded several simple apps to my 5230 (level, currency converter, flashlight) but now want to download a digital clock/alarm and have tried the two best apps but find that I cannot get either one of these to my 'phone. I have repeatedly committed to buy and entered my card details but they seem to stall or I get a time out message. The files are approx 0.35mb. Am I expecting too much?

Download from where? If Nokia's Ovi Store, then call Nokia's customer care and ask them for assistance. If somewhere else, contact whomever operates that place.
Yes Nokia OVI store, I realise that but didn't want to get tied up with a (chargeable?) call centre when I thought someone here might be able to help.
