Wlan access point issue.

Hey there,

I'm in desperate need of help here. Today i got a n80 and so far the phones been great. But here's the one major problem i'm having.

I can browse the net and download things through my network providers access point which is through the network.

But now when i try run mxit - chat application - after downloading it so it can install and also opera mini. It asks for the application to have permission to connect to the net. But it only gives me the option to search for wlan. I have no wireless network at home nor would i want the phone to use it for those two apps.

Can anyone help me on this? spoke to our network provider and all they gave me was a new set of settings which don't change a thing.

Thanks, dezireal

It looks like a Settings issue . Open the default Web(browser) > Options > Settings > General > Access Point .
It is probably set to Always Ask . Set it to your providers Access Point .
