This may be an obvious question but whenever I select a contact to call using voice dialling, it automatically starts dialing the mobile number rather than asking me if I want to call the mobile, home or business number for the selected contact.
Is there a way of instructing the voice dialing facility to select which number I want to be dialled or is this a flaw in the design?
I think, TBH, that you'll probably need to make separate entries for "Bob Work", "Bob Home", "Bob Mobile". Don't think Voice dialing is that advanced yet.
Thank you for your fast reply. Maybe something for the next release...
Simply speak the field right after the name of your contact as UKJeeper said. You just have to be specific and know what the specific field is called. You may have to say, "John home telephone" or "Jane work mobile."
If you just say the name and there are multiple fields, you need to actually press on the choice on the touch screen. You cannot just speak the choice. If you want to speak the choice, you have to remember the choice, and restart the voice dialling process speaking the name and the specific field.
As per Stuntman's post above:
If you say just the name, i.e. "name", you will dial the default (usually the mobile unless you go in a change it) number.
But if you say the name of the other fields - so "name...telephone" or "name...home" etc, it works! This works for emails and anything else in there - although it's pretty pointless voice dialling for an email to open when you've then got to type anyway..
