Has anybody been able to download this?
I'm trying on different servers and for different languages and all I get is one of the following messages (depending on language):
The requested URL /downloads/PCSuiteForP800_rel_1.3.1_XL.exe was not found on this server.
Sorry! I tried to download the english version, you�re right, it is not possible. I downloaded the german version two weeks ago, it is possible. But it is not necessary to do that, because this is the same like on CD (only an other version number, but exactly the same) - all errors are available too.

No, it's not the same version as on cd. On cd is 1.1.x. The links to 1.3.1 are there since at least Sunday morning, but unfortunately they are all unfunctional!
I'm wondering why such a beginners error occurs on a website as large as the one from SE !!! They need to invest in some more time into quality management....

Downloaded italian version today at 1300 (Switzerland)...got at 50 kb/s.
Firts you have to uninstall the existing version, otherwise you get an error (something like "An installation wasn't completed in this computer. Please reboot and run setup again"...you can reboot, but you get the message again if you still have Sync Soft installed 😉 )
At this moment, I see that at least on the american server all v1.3.1 links disappeared...

I said...links disappeared but files are still there...you simply have to point to the proper file name 😊
Is there anything new over the version on the CD? Or is it just a bug fix?
Sorry, you are all right. On the austrian SE site there was the old information that the latest version is the same like on CD. Today the version 1.3.1. is available on our site.
Is there a reason to install it? Is it clever to deinstall the old one before?

If I unistall the version 1.1.x to install the 1.3.1 do I loose my backups I have made before?
If so, it is not really good, because I made one from my "nacked" phone before I worked with it, it is like I buyed it.

Well, yes you will loose it but you can copy your backup file to another folder, uninstall the old version then after installing the new version, you can copy it back to the sony ericsson folder. You didn't loose anything.
I uninstall and reinstall with the new version and the old backup file is still there. Didn't do a restore though, no need to.
I'm using Windows XP.
1.3.1 messed up my contacts a bid. Contacts with a picture/phote where doubled on my phone. The new one without the photo and with an extra name field. I deleted them and the problem was resolved (I think) but keep it in mind.[/b]
Funny coz inever had any problems at all. What oprating system do ou have? Im using WinXP/ I did back up my phoen before doing so but neer needed to use it. It was very simple you know, uninstall old, reinstall new, sync and voila 😊 No doubling or eraced data at all.

I just downloaded the PC Suite 1.3.1 after trying for 3 days. I have already uninstalled the old version and now that I am trying install the new version, i keep on getting a warning message saying "Another program has been installed/uninstalled since the last reboot. Reboot computer to complete previous installation/uninstallation before running this setup."
What am I doing wrong.
