Protection for the N8 — Symbian^3 phones (N8, C7, C6-01, E7-00)

So, the N8 comes with Gorilla Glass, and an aluminium shell that's "scratch resistant" according to the white papers

1. Gorilla Glass isn't impervious to scratches, as can be seen all over, just very resistant
2. What of the plastic pieces on the top and botton of the phone, are they coated in scratch resistant paint too?

Do you have any sort of protection for your N8?

I got my N8 through a preorder, which had an offer for a 2-year warranty (awesome) and comes with a "Spine Case" which essentially is a back plastic cover for the phone (of which i've not used yet, since it's black, and my phone is green.

any thoughts on a good case, protector, etc which doesn't detract from the size and color of the phone?

to be honest the handset is so nice i wouldnt want to cobver it up , i have the orange one and love the colour etc

ive gone for a 3 layer screen protector and also cut a square of screen protector fo the camea lens

it makes no difference to pictures and i know my 12mp lens will stay scratch free

over at nokia users where i usually post someone from usa allready has two tiny scratches on his lens

ZAGG Invisible Shield imo is the best as it offers full body cover and is like a screen protector all over the phone, a bit fiddly to put on thou!!

nothing on mine and dropped and volleyed it in the car park recently :@

Theres a couple of speckled dints on the bottom right of the case, but it seems to be black under black so they aren't very visible..
