I'm trying to syncronize my P800 by GPRS with my office PC but i can't understand how i can do it. Do I need any specific software? If not, i can i configure it?

My pc has outlook 2000 in a lan with exchange 2000 server. Everything is protecte from a firewall. (I can open every port i want...)

Please help me!

Do you have a fixed IP address for your remote computer? or some other way of directing the phone to that particular machine?

Yes, I' have both.

But software on the server does remote Sync connect to:

-- Microsoft Exchange
-- MS Outlook
-- Lotus Notes
-- P800 Suite

Ite appears to use HTTP protocol - presumably port 80. This really indicates that it is talking to a WEB server.

If you want to do a remote sync you need some middleware software that interfaces between HTTP and your Exchange server... I think.

I've been looking for the same thing and finally found one. I can't remember the URL now, but I found it on Yahoo.

You need a SyncML server in your DMZ, and you connect your remote sync to that.
