Nokia Messenger not behaving - E55

I'm on E55 firmware 34.002 with an unbranded phone. I was suffering the memory leak issue and did a soft reset, which solved the memory but left me with 'building cache' error in my contacts list. I finally resorted to hard reset, having saved everything important to my SD card.

The phone works fine - it seems, but I'm having real problems with email. Previously I had my email set up via Nokia Messaging and it all worked brilliantly. Now, my email client won't allow me to set up automatically and asks for all the techie details (which I'm happy to provide), but I'm bypassing Nokia Messaging and so don't get my push. Also, after the initial email collection, it refuses to get any more mail and disconnects the instant it connects.

Can anyone help?

Hey buddy I too faced a similar problem some times back. My main use of it was to do conference call I too had an unbranded phone on E55 firmware 34.002; it had some memory leak issue. First I gave it to a nearby shop which fixed up everything for me, but latter it was found that there was some 'building cache' error in my contacts list. Then I gain tried to repair it, but noting worked the way it should work and I finally ended up buying a new Nokia E series phone.

I'm sorry you said this problem I is not very understanding, so I can not give the one you want to advice
