Just when I felt like chucking my N97 off a cliff, Opera comes and saves the day with their Opera Mini 5.1 beta. I had another incident with my N97 last week. I seem to have them once a month. Opera Mini made things all good again with its blazingly fast speed. It's almost as good as Gravity.

Cannot get 5.1 beta to work at all - completely freezes on start up - I have tried uninstalling all other opera software and re-installing with no result

Installed OMini 5.1 on the E90 . Got several Freezings and Closings of the browser . Especially when turning back to former page .
Also : when operating from Bookmarks closing down the page , the browser comes back to the Homepage , instead of the Bookmark Page .
Have to open Bookmark Page all over again with shortcut #5 .
BTW : It's nice the bookmarks are ordered alphabetically .
Still Beta .... So I'm back on OMini 4

It's unfortunate that you guys are having issues. I had problems initially. Then I realized the backup was running. It worked properly once I turned the backup off.
Stuntman , very glad for you . OMini 5.1 is a fast starter and browser experience . Like OMini 4 in my case .
Disabled Opera Link and while reading Allaboutmeego.com it started freezing again . After a couple of pressings on the 8 key the browser was closing .
