I read and can not find if they have the software to setup Voip, my Broadvoice, Ippi, Gizmo5.
Only the E7 in tech details shows has Voip!
Any of this models have Skype for example?
Is this correct

Thanks I wanted to sure before thinking of buying.
I do not understand why "voip" does not come install and ready, is as basic as having an email program.
My Nokia N95 E51, E71 had it, when I got the E72 had to do what you put above.

I guess not all mobile network operators are embracing or happy with VoIP. I guess it's Nokia way of keeping the mobile network operators happy to ensure the networks buy and sell their phones.
Has anyone got VLOIPCHEAP to work on the N8
I downloaded the Symbian3 Advanced VOIP settings
and set up a widget.
It seems to be able to dial a phone number via VOIP but it gives a 486 Number busy error in response to the invite and no connection is made!!
Anby help appreciated.
I have tried a proxy server and also specified a stun server still no luck.
VoIP with Nimbuzz works and works well.
I don't know if all carriers allow it but I am on O2.

Can you elaborate? Are you able to make outbound calls but not get inbound?
I have setup VoipCheap and it works fine on 3G and Wi-Fi.
And SIP is built into the phone, the link I provided allows additional tweaks the built-in app can't do e.g. codec priority.
I have never tried to make an inbound call as I am only interested in ringing out.
Vodafone Australia is my carrier.
As I said I have determined that it fails with a 486 message when failing to initiate the call (I get this by looking at the lasm 10 SIP errors message area).
Does anyone know if firmware for Vodafone remnoves VOIP?
I've been playing with the N8 and SIP, and have had pretty mixed results so far. I'm going to do a bit more fiddling when I have time, but so far I've experienced random reboots when activating the SIP service, and when placing or even part way through a call.
Given that the E72 works flawlessly with my SIP phone system, I don't think it's that that is incompatible. I've not even got round to trying the really advanced stuff, like SIP over a VPN for when I'm roaming - I'll be taking the E72 when I travel this weekend, because I know it will work. And the N8 just doesn't give me that feeling.

Got the C7 yesterday, so I can see Symbian V3, so far I like it, and I was able with the "Help and information" here set-up my "ippi.fr" Voip Account made a call perfect, will test more later and set-up my Gizmo5 account.
Thanks and regards

Follow up this setup guide, you'll get working your device as I did

I've had generally very good VoIP-calling results with my N8, using Sipgate as the SIP service provider. It's all done using the N8's built-in SIP functionality (no third-party apps needed installing, aside from Nokia's own SIP settings "plugin"😉.
My mobile network has, in the past, frowned upon and periodically blocked VoIP traffic (Skype, Fring, etc.) on their "basic" Internet package, and I haven't yet tried SIP calling over 3G (more for reasons of connection reliability than anything else). However, it works very well indeed over WiFi, and the N8's SIP integration is very good (e.g. via the Contacts application).
Having said all this, my N8 isn't a "network-branded" one, so I don't know whether my network would remove or impede the SIP functionality in its own firmware. If your handset has this feature, though, I find it works well enough.
