Your TV could have a "Handshaking" problem with the N8, try turning TV off, plug in N8 then turn TV on and select the correct HDMI input, also make sure all connections are tight and secure.
also make sure all connections are tight and secure.
😃
THAT DID IT..seems i was babying my new handset..the phone end was not secured properly...took courage to insert it hard 😉
thanx...
hdmi works, fm tranmiter works, now only usb otg to be tested,,,:icon14:
nice phone ..small screen size though and occsional restarts...3.7 and a higg res would have done it
..feels nostalgic to be back at symbian after a long gap...from windows to samsungs to android...

Glad to see you got it working mate 😃
usb otg works fine if the format is fat32, do note that. ntfs is not supported
Hi dheerpat
Good to hear that you managed to get your hdmi working, and really pleased to see that you're back with Symbian.
Could you possibly post a few comments about how you are finding Symbian please? I'd like to understand what differences you've noticed, what you're still missing from Android, Windows, what you're liking etc? I don't mean to open up "old wounds" or anything... but with the ongoing criticisms of Symbian, and the apparent popular appeal of Android it would be good to hear from someone who can comment from experience.
Thanks
