Hi guys need a lil help

I am moving away from nokia 5800 to sony vivaz u5

Now i purchased the phone from ebay.

It works all fine, however it has vodaphone branding 🙄 makes the phone look like crap if you tell me...

Now i tried doing software update but keeps failing saying "the installation failed" even though my battery if fully charged.

Am i doing summit wrong?

Does the phone need to be debranded before i apply the sony ericsson update?

I suppose i can update to the latest firmware from vodaphone, there is a latest one...but the whole point is to remove vodaphone

Any help much appreciated, including software i need...

Btw the usb cable i am using is from my nokia 5800? I have two different ones, could this be cauing the update to not apply. My phone is still working though.

Sony phone is a good phone, I think his battery is very good, every time my phone's battery life can reach more than 25 hours this has brought me a lot of convenience

Thank you, I think SONY mobile phone shell is very good, give a person the feeling is very comfortable, more high-grade appearance, can good shockproof and buffer impact, surface anti fingerprint design soft very easy to clean, not changeful form
