How do I change the background color on the N8, from black to white with black font.

I have tried to change the theme bit it dosent make any difference?

Colours are theme controlled so you'd need to find a theme that had a white background however you probably don't want black on white (unless you have a pressing need):

"OLED screens, in which pixels that are black draw no power at all and pixels that are bright/white draw maximum power. A study has shown that the two extremes represent a factor of FIFTEEN in power drain."

You could try this "Pure White" theme from Pizero,,, it's FREE. 😃

JayTay is correct though when he states that it would be a bigger drain on your battery,

Having said that, if the theme makes it more legible for you, then all well and good.
