I envy the poster who can't get off his home LAN. I've spent 3 days trying to get onto it!
The phone sees the network (on the WLAN list, strong signal).
The router sees the phone (correct MAC address).
I've added the device to the "allowed stations" list.
This is all I need to do when friends visit and I allow them access to my LAN.
The phone shows "connecting" and then a little drop-down in the top left corner of the screen says "Conn. failed - WLAN not found".
The wireless LAN is working throughout - my laptop is still connected.
I've turned off Access control on the router - no change.
I've contacted T-mobile, who referred me to Nokia support.
Nokia tried (over two very frustrating days, including problems with Ovi, backup and sync)
- soft reset
- hard reset
- reinstall the software.
I've exchanged the phone, but have the same problem.
Any ideas, please?
