Hi Guys,
Can someone please help me. I got a Nokia N8 and am shocked it doesn't have the facility to share photo's to flickr as standard like all other Nokia's I have had over the last few years.
No doubt there is some way to do it.
Can you please post the idiots guide to a one touch solution to get photo's uploaded on to flickr?
Thanks so much.
My Ovi social sharing, only has facebook and twitter on it!
Hi h.t
This has been a reasonably well-publicised shortcoming of the N8 - no built in sharing. The solution involves a little setting up using a third-party app, then it's quite straightforward.
Download Pixelpipe from the Ovi Store. Install it and set up an account with them. I think from memory you can do that from within the application but if not do it from pixelpipe.com.
Then from pixelpipe.com (or the app) 'Add pipe' to link to Flickr.
From that point, click Send or the envelope after you've taken a photo and send Via Pixelpipe. Add tag @flickr (or whatever you chose) and it's on its way.
Not pretty, but does the job and Pixelpipe gives you shed loads of options.
That's the quick version. If you need elements broken down and explained further, just say.
Thanks so much.
That works great.
What are Nokia thinking creating a media power-house without sharing on it?
I hope this is the only hiccup I have with this phone.
After the N97 & N900, I swore I'd never buy Nokia again...
