I have an N8 which out of the box can see the wlan but fails to connect to it.
Nothing wrong with the router.
I factory reset the N8 .. no good ..
I eventually had to reinstall the firmware to get this working!

Well, same thing happened, only that I decided to send it back to Nokia and have never heard from them ever since!
