Hi again everyone I am no tech whizz kid but I have a nokia n95 8gb on orange payg and wonder if anyone could explain to me in simple terms how I use the gps sat nav and does it cost me to use it many thanks Chris

The phone presumably has the Nokia Maps (or Ovi Maps) app preinstalled.
Just make sure in the phone settings that the GPS is enabled (enable also A-GPS, if you want to lock on faster to the satellite data). Also, a WAP or Internet GPRS access point needs to be defined.
If you want to minimize cellular network data costs, turn off A-GPS and use the Nokia Map Loader application to copy maps to the phone through a PC (you get it installed on a PC with, e.g., Nokia PC Suite).
