Hello,
I have a Nokia e75 and no matter what I do, when the phone goes idle, it waits about 60 seconds and then some strange screen-saver thing comes on and the screen turns on full brightness and it even unlocks the keypad.
What's going on here? Does anyone know how to turn this off? It's just wasting my battery and it lights up my whole room.
Thanks!
EDIT: The screen-saver that is playing looks like the one found in the "SettingsContent" subfolders.
Thanks anyway, I fixed it. It turns out that there was some stuff on the SD card that was being re-flashed to the phone every time i would restart it. There were fake contacts, calendar appointments (couldn't delete those BTW), texts and other things. Among these was some kind of really bad configuration.
I had to format that card, THEN do a hard reset using *#7370# and then things were normal. I don't know what in the world that config was that was coming from that card, but it was making the battery die in a few hours.
Regards.
