Thanks for the reply! I've got Synology myself and the webdav works almost perfectly with the N8 within my network. I'm quite reluctant to open my NAS to the www!

With the Qnap, can you view pictures and videos stored on the NAS? I'm able to open any file on my NAS fine even MP3s but can't open pictures or videos! Don't know why

Although my N8 will communicate with my Qnap drive fine using file manager & webdav, I can't view an image unless i copy it to my phone.
