Cant read'em Ebooks

Hi everyone!

I just got my N97mini, and was checking out apps, when I found out about ebooks.

I'm a med student, and thought I could get a few cool ebooks about treatments n stuff, So got Mobipocket, and found a few free books!

But.. Hyperlinks dont work, I cant go from the Table of contents directly to Chapter xxx (Whatever pathology etc..)

And these e books are like 5000 pages, so I cant really just look for individual chapters..

I tried checking out ZXreader, but I cant install it, I downloaded it from 4 or 5 places, and when I try to install it, my phone says something about outdated certifications.

Does anyone know whats wrong with my mobipocket, or if there's another ebook reader out there?

e-readers for the N97....

Well...here's my experience...

Mobireader - don't even fool with it. After they were bought out they have not updated anything Symbian. This is a shame since they had the best reader out there for my Nokia 9300.

ZXreader is very simple, but not a joy to use. After the worldwide disillusionment with the N97, I can see why the certificates were allowed to expire.

Tomeraider had a beta for Symbian, but it no longer works either. Another disappointment since that e-reader could handle enormous files (like the entire text-only version of Wikipedia!).

eReaderPro - by Fictionwise, LLC. is a stable e-reader that works on the N97. The reader is free, but there are limited free titles from their library. So far I haven't found anything in their "pay" library that I'd want to buy however.

Best bet--use an HTML editor on your PC to create your own e-books from content such as that from the Gutenburg project and then use the N97 browser to read. You won't be able to save a page, so there will be a lot of navigation. You could also use ZXreader to read the straight text if you ever get a signed version to install.
