Hi,

I have a nokia 5230 with symbian S60 V5 phone from my employer.
The company policy is that internet access through 3G is disabled.

I can find on the internet a lot of tutorials to get internet working via bluetooth (gnubox, issii, mrouter) but as it seems its all for symbian 60 v3 phones.

Does anyone have a solution for my 5230?

Thanks!

I found a developers blog on 17.03.2011 and he said that is almost done but busy to finish. he said that will finish this and will put on OVISTORE for 5 Euro. I think a lot of people is willing to pay this if someone finish the solution.

Which site did you visit? If he manages to publish this @ovi, He will get nothing, because Nokia is not going to publish it. Reason: Nokia KNOWS that if it makes this software available, Mobile Internet Service Providers will loose money. And we all know that they charge us heavy bills for that, despite how 'fast' the connection is...edge, 2g, gprs, 3g...

Well, I'm also on this road, looking for a way to get my cellphone - Nokia 5233 - connected to my pc, using the PC's internet via bluetooth.
I've tried, GnuBox, MRouter, a japanese program that I don't remember the name right now and Bluesoleil. Two factors, actually, prevented me from succeeding, 1) windows version (the tutorial always used as a reference winxp and I'm using Win7 HP x64) and the fact that my cellphone does not provide Data Call any longer, only data packet. For this reason, GnuBox would not work at all, not to mention that it was developed only for S60v3 devices; Not my case, S60v5 here.

I will continue to look for it, though so many ppl recommended me this website that I was pretty much sure that it would be the end of my problems. Oh well...
