Had to take my N8 to a care point a few weeks ago after it froze and could not be rescued, even with an x-figured salute (a classic case, even though I can't prove it, of where a quick battery out and back in again would have done the job but being an N8 ....).
Today, frequently trying to force it to update to the PR1.1 firmware. But just realised that the Care point (within Carphone Warehouse) changed the product code from EURO1 to Carphone Warehouse UK !!
Is this normal ? I spent good money to get a legit EURO1 phone so that I would get firmware quickly.
Anyone else had this problem and did CPW change it back again.
(Of course in the "good old days", it would be 5 minutes with NSS but I don't think this is working yet with Symbian ^3)
