Hi, I may be getting a job out that way soon, I am living in the UK at the moment, and I was wondering what the mobile coverage was like out there?
Will I need to buy a new phone or just roam with a tri-band from this country? Or is there no coverage at all and I am just wasting my time?

you'll be fine with coverage. Tmobile, Att and Cingular all offer coverage in Florida
I'd think there's no problem with coverage, but roaming will probably hurt your wallet in the long run. 😞

I don't suppose there will be coverage, I will just have to wait until I come back into port.
How easy will it to buy a moble if I don't have a permanent home out there? I will be based on a ship and still be keeping a house here in the UK.
