In his PR1.1 feature (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/12581_More_Nokia_N8C7C6-01_PR_11_upd.php), Steve mentioned that the entire 170 MB full image of PR 1.1 was available to install via Ovi Suite, as a way to get your device back to a factory clean state.
I did the OTA update, but I figured I'd still see the full install in Ovi Suite even after that, but I don't- it just says my device is up-to-date.
Has anybody seen and/ or tried this full reinstall? Myself and another NAM user I've asked have not seen it- I'm sure it would be welcome by many as a way to restore missing Ovi Stores! Thanks!
I am in Romania, But I cannot do the Update OTA or via OVI.
What could be wrong?
Is the update Region Specific?

I tried this, but it did not install the missing Ovi Store. Yesterday, I went to a Service Center, and they had to mail my N8 back to Nokia to repair it. 2-4 weeks is their estimate. 😡
I have done the Reinstall option of pr1.1 via ovi suite
It does not fix your issues with ovi store or Qt. If you are having problems with these components after doing a factory reset then there is nothing you can do apart from taking it to a care point or sending it back to Nokia.
Mine is on its way back to Nokia at the moment 😡
There should be some way of reinstalling these parts of software without having to resort to taking/sending it back to Nokia
