MGS GAMES in MMC??..

1) Install MGS to MMC.
2) Install required games - to MMC where given the choice.
3) Create folder 'e:\101'
4) Move contents of 'c:\101\game' to 'e:\101\game'
5) Move contents of 'c:\101\save' to 'e:\101\save'
6) Find 'magic101.ini' on c: (I think it's somewhere in a subdirectory of c:\system)
7) Copy 'magic101.ini' to PC. Replace all occurences of 'c:' with 'e:'
8) Overwrite original 'magic101.ini' on phone with modified copy.

Done.

One last question..so when we do that we can delete the c:101?..in order to remove the kbs from the phone memory?

Remember steps 4) and 5) above? Where you moved (not copied) those folders?

That's where you saved space, e.g. 340kb for Steel Warrior. There is one directory remaining in c:\101 and that's 'bin'. It needs to be there (or so it would seem).

If anyone knows how to get c:\101\bin onto e: and still be able to play the games then please post 😊

How do you edit the magic101.ini file? Wenn i open it i only see Squares.

you can either edit it using FExplorer on the phone or copy it across to your pc and open it in notepad being carefull only to change C: to E:

i install MGS
then i install games - priority for MMC
then i move c:\101\save c:\101\game to e:\.....
then delete on c: directory save and game
on C:\ in now only c:\101\bin
then i edit .ini c:\ replace e:\

it doesnt work
before this moving and editing i have in MGS list of games

after this i execute MGS but list is empty
no installed games

what MGS do you have?

Still one question.

I got Silverball to work, but with karting everytime the race should begin i quits the program with an error and goes back to desktop. Do you know what this could be?

I have never seen this problem before, are ou using the latest version?

i have 1.8 and not work (fw 2.50)

ok, i found my problem. MGS Karting will only work if i play without sound. If i have sound on i get an error message. anyone have the same problem?
