Anyone know where I can get this?
The web site says I have to visit ovi store and get it there, but it's not there.
It doesn't seem to be available for download on their web site either.

Oh, and I read somewhere that Nokia deliberately hides it for the N97 software updater, because of the limited C-space 😞
I visited that page but there is no download option.
It says that I must download via ovi shop.
And when I go there, it is nowhere to be found!

Just found it! 😃
It is NOT in Ovi Store.
It is available via the update facility on the N97.
Updating now as I type.
The web page gives incorrect info.

Actually, looks like it's v3.04! :frown:

For N97, the version available via software updates is 3.04. This will eat up the C drive. For Symbian^3, the version is 3.06. Well this is what I found before I 'surrended' my N97 a month ago.
I am sure that the web site says 3.06 is available for the N97.
Just can't find it anywhere. :frown:
I am looking forward to dumping my N97 when due an upgrade in July.
Unless anything better comes onto the market, I am looking at an adroid based phone.
Possibly a Nexus s (I think it is called).

I just signed into the site mentioned above (Nkia Beta Labs) and downloaded the .sis file for Ovi Maps 3.06. 😃
If you're thinking of an android device, you may want to look at the Motorola Atrix 4G. Dual core processor. 1 GB RAM. 4" screen. See here:-
And me now too!
The download button was not there on the days I tried, but is there now.
I will need this when I visit Germany later in the year.

belated comment, i've put the Android qwerty slider HTC Doubleshoot on my hit list, though it's probably a while away from being ready...

if only Nokia release a Symbian 3 device in the N97's form factor

i agree with many of Steve Litchfield about the E7, there is a lot of like about it, but 2 features which almost certainly make it a no go; lack of a AF camera (i snap documents often) and removable battery (i tend to keep a phone for 2yrs+ and am concerned i am unable to change the battery myself or swap a spare for long journeys)
