Have you guys ever experienced this? After I installed the trial game majong, all the applications dissapeared. I had to restart my Phone to bring them back. All the folders were still there but they were empty. If you go to install-uninstall aps no aps would appear also... Its nothing a restart wont cure though nothing serious.

The simplest way to bring the apps back is to remove and reinsert the MS. It seems to do a refresh.
If you switch the P800 off and on again (what I used to do) when first noticing the problem, you loose the folder information of your apps. I can't remember how many times I reordered them! 😞
Hey that just happend to me. I thought it was because I installed the Remote app.. Dang, so this is a phone prob huh? I had to rearrange all the aps to there folders again. Very dissapointing bug.
Do you both have Appforge installed?
I've heard of Appforge causing that problem. Certainly never had anything like that myself.
I do have AppForge installed - and several AppForge applications.
Please don't tell me it's an AppForge bug ... or if you do, please tell me there is a fix for it 😉
I had the same with APPFORGE! And I even couldn't make a restore!!! Damn! AppForge is SHIT, no one really has waited for this application! REALLY!
I dont have appforge installed anymore 😞 I had it before but uninstalled a long time ago

It happened to me just now, when I was installing the color scheme. Fortunately, I already saw/read your post even before it happened. Thanks for the heads up on this bug.
i experienced this after i installed WORLDMATE.
After removing this application, it is ok now.
I just installed MiniGPS and all the pre-installed applications have vanished! All the others like Opera are still there but I can't even get the uninstall to work. I tried re-starting my phone without the memory stick (where I installed MiniGPS to) but this hasn't helped. Is there anything I can do before restoring from backup?
Please help!

Managed to get it all back after switching off a removing battery and ms duo.
Panic over!
Same with me for several SW. Beside that, everytime after playing Interstellar Flames, it will happen and i have to off/on again. Is it OK to remove MS when the phone is still on ?
As far as I know (and it constantly happens to me after starting certain apps or loading new ones), if you just remove the MS and reinsert it, your folder settings remain intact. If you switch the P800 off and on (or remove the battery) you loose the folder settings (but at least the apps reappear).
hi there, i had this problem and accidentally managed to remove the applications icon and replace it with file manager.
anyone know a way of getting the applications tab back? i tried unistalling file manager but to know avail.
it doesn't show up in the list of options that u can set the icon to.

Sounds like a bug in the software - where you can't get to applications if you have replaced it...
It looks like your only way out is to find the APP for the application list and run it through file manager.
this has happened to me several times, i have always switched the phone off and on to get the applications back and i have never lost the folder settings!
