I am having problem converting wav file into 3gp file.

I try using pc suite and it does not want to do it even though it says on the preference and it can do it.

does anybody know how to do it?

thanks

edit: I make a mistake, it should be wmv file

so how do I convert wmv to 3gp?

thanks

sorry my mistake.. misread ur post i guess~

i'm not sure. i think wmv is a proprietory format to microsoft.. not sure if u can modify it. WMV is the microsoft media player video format correct? i don't have any samples on my PC.. i never used it. but you might be able to dub it into a more known format using VirtualDub.. where to get that program it beats me as i haven't seen it around for a while. but its a great conversion program. if u find the URL please pass it on here. i use it now to convert stuff from VCD into MPEG-4 into 3GP (nokia does the last one).

actually you can change the extension .wmv to .mpeg and it will work, not sure why but essentially, changing the extension of a wmv file to mpeg is no problem then i just convert the mpeg file to .rm format using helix producer plus

How to convert 3GP to other file format?

because I want to send the video to my friend, but i think she doesn't need to d/l multimedia nokia. I hope she can open with windows media player or other.

fischerspooner ... it actually works!!! i had my doubts at first. but i renamed my file xtension from wmv to mpg. then used nokia's multimedia converter to convert it to 3gp ... AND IT WORKS ... genious!!! 😃

strange ... playback on the pc was perfect ... but there were some problems with the frames on the phone ... guess i'll stick to converting from actual mpg files 😃

mine was ok both ways

I've had problem converting divx to rm- real producer doesnt recognise divx as a valid format to convert.
Are there any other applications to use ? Do any of the above ones work ?
