The wobbly volume button and white blobs on photos was enough for me to drop an email to Nokia Care, they sent an RMA (within an hour) and have offered a replacement or refund.
I've attached a couple of examples of the 'white blobs' on my photos and a panorama (from Nokia Panorama 2.0) that I took at Manchester Airport on Monday morning.
I'll deffo be taking the replacement, I'm really pleased with the phone and I enjoy making all the iPhoners where at work get on their high 'look at our swish UI' horses. They're all envious of camera, Swype, video player, HDMI, USB otg, maps (gps positioning/sensitivity is excellent), theme switching, homescreen customisation, homescreen rss widgets and Nokia beta labs (Big Screen, Bubbles, Connectivity Analyzer, etc).
