How or Where do I get a firmware update?

Heya, It looks like I have an old version of the firmware, CXC162002 R1D, so how and where can I get the latest version???

i think your nearest one is in birmingham (worcester here also).

Failing that theres one in bristol. SE will tell you the nearest one if you call them.

R1D isn't an old phone firmware. As far as I'm aware, it's the latest one available to the public.

Doesn't cost anything (whilst under the 12 month warranty). However, it wipes your data so backup before taking it to an SE service centre. Should take an hour or two.

Do they do it while-u-wait or do you have to book an appointment? Can you just walk in or do you have to send it off? Do you need proofs of purchase and stuff like that?

Nuthn just thot I stumbled upon you nick at cliesource.com before. Sorry. I just got my P800 upgraded and I had to bring the official receipt of purchase, after showing them that they did it for me for free 😃
