Broken Flip

They should have such simple parts!

You will NOT find a flip sold anywhere. Believe me. I started a couple post about this and had no luck. I had responses as stated by the guest, but they were all assumptions. I even challenged members on this forum and elsewhere a reward for locating a link or store that sells them and got no responses for more then 3 weeks now. That�s because it doesn�t exist literally anywhere on the internet or a store front to-date. The only way I was able to replace it was to have a private owner sell it to me. Other then that you have to ship your phone to a service center in the UK or elsewhere in Europe to have them replace it. The turnaround time for that is estimated at 4-6 weeks unfortunately. The reason for the slow delay is that they have to make sure they have enough phones in stock to replace a broken part. As you already know most places are selling out or low in stock.

So i need to buy another p800?? :evil:

Or you can buy a P800 dummy which has the same flip.

I believe that the best solution to your problem is to try to buy one from private P800 users. I believe lots are using their P800 without the flip

So is it like buying car parts from a wrecked cars lot; But why can't SE provide a chanel to buy brand new parts for repair? 😮

I broke one of the flip corners recently as well on mine. I'd been trying to figure out why my phone kept unlocking itself constantly, as well as hanging up on people. I ended up making about 75 phone calls with the phone in my pocket before realizing wtf was going on.

So, for now I've just removed the flip. I just wish there was an easier way to lock the phone when done now.

I have found a flip in Paris from a retailer that had a broken P800. He gave it to me which is nice.
