Hello, guys!

First of all, thank you for previous support, I was able to solve almost all of my problems I had with S^3.

Now, with the improvement of the Nokia Beta Labs website, I was encouraged to try some apps.
Ok, when I was at the new Nokia Sleeping Screen download page, I was asked about the Qt issue (depending on I had it or not a proper link was available).

Well, I just don't know if I have it. I searched on Qt page, but I am not able to say what version I have (IF I have it) yet. Anyway, I saw the 4.7.2 version was released and I'd like to install it (yes, I'm very excited about PR2.0, so, if it is necessary to the update, I want to have it as soon as possible! 😃).

So, my question is: how to download it to my N8? Do I really have to download ALL the SDK (I mean, it's 1.5 GB... takes a lot!)??

Thank all of you once again!

😃😃😃

Assuming that your handset is up-to-date, PR1.1.....

1. Download the first version of Sleeping Screen.sis file to your computer.

2. Connect your phone via USB to computer.

3. Copy and paste the file to your SDcard.

4. Disconnect USB cable and navigate using the phone's File Manager to the file you just copied on your SDcard.

5. Click on the file and install Sleeping Screen on C: Memory.

There are other methods of installation but I thought this was easiest for you.

@ironass, thank you for the step-by-step! Actually, I already installed Sleeping Screen because there was a link indicated for those who doesn't have Qt. And, thank God, my PR is 1.2 😃

@jaytay thank you for the links too! I decided to try to download the Qt SDK. For my surprise, the online installation allows one to download only certain components of the SDK (not the whole 1.5GB), so the files that you posted are also available after the Qt SDK Installation (as long as one checks 'Qt for Symbian' option).
