My E7 gets delivered on Tuesday
I have read that when you set up the email, that is asks you to log into ovi or something when you do it, as the emails are pushed through the Nokia servers before your phone.
But....
YOu can skip this step & just have it send and recieve email direct, and the speed is improved?
Anyone got any logic to this? I am really looking forward to getting that great looking phone!
Yeah, in the case of the n8, you just need to reject the terms and conditions when it asks you. This then bypasses the nokia servers which, in my experience, never works properly. Only cop out with rejecting the terms is that you no longer get push unless its an exchange account, but at least you know that you will get your emails which is never a garentee via nokia until they can sort their servers out
What exactly does not having the emails "pushed" mean?
The emails still will show up on their own, or do I have to manually send/receive if I neglect the terms and conditions?
