There's a GPS module for 9210. You can see it at http//www.exportech.co.uk/nokia9210gps.htm/5EJ8X1-1G5L
Why can't make other modules, like bluetooth or even external drives, memory readers, hard disks etc for it? I would love an external wireless modem connected to my DECT phone base. Or an ir remote controler for my home cinema. I suppose that all the goodies that our phone doesn't have, can be pluged on it.
Imagine a new trapdoor for the MMC and SIM card , that gives a way for an adaptor to use Compact Flash memory cards, or even the IBM 1Gb Compact Flash hard drive!!!! Yes... In a million years...
How about an external VGA, keyboard and mouse adaptor. Not like the one that connects via ir and shows only powerpoint presentations. How difficult that can be?
External stuff on 9210
That would be way cool, but I suppose nobody reckons there's a market for it.

I suppose so, but I think that a GPS device, that is about to come out, and an ir devise that shows powerpoint presentations, are less usefull to the majority of the users, than a LAN adapter or an external modem. Connect your communicator to the Internet via DSL... Doesn't sound cool??
There goes mobility and the small formfactor...![]()
OK now. Our phone is not actually like 8310. And of cource is smaller than a Ipaq and a 8310 together. But all small computers can get really big. My old Amiga, a computer as big as an old keyboard, right now takes up a full desk. A friend that uses an Ipaq, when he plugs in the Ethernet adaptor, it gets double the size.
Anyway, if I had all these adaptors on 9210 that Ipaq has, I would probably spend a lot of money on it. Of course it's my point of view.
OK now.. Can someone please make for me a bluetooth adapter for 9210? Or please tell me why can't someone do it?
Thanks
Y'know - I'd love a blutooth adapter for my 9210.
i think thier is a marked for 9210i gps car module becaus people pay a lot for car navigation systems!
