Ok.. maybe I am missing something
I want my display on my E7 to stay lit when its plugged in? So when I have it in the cradle in my car, I can use the music player, ect... My N900 had a easy to find option for the display, cant find one on my E7.... any N8, E7, ect owners out there got any thoughts?

I'd be very wary of any App that let's you do this as screen burn is a... let's just say it's a burning issue on AMOLED screens.
i had a gorgeous clock app that i liked to use at work on my C7, now it's burnt a big yellow circle onto my phone. fortunately i noticed it on the load in screen when i turn the phone on and stopped using the constant on light to preserve the life of the screen.
i think that nokia are right, having a screen that dims after a while really is the lesser of 2 evils. just my 2 cents.
oh... and it's an issue across all manufacturers using amoled as i discovered on a cursory google search... Galaxy S users seem to be particularly pissed...
So what about using it as GPS?
The screen cannot stay lit for that? I left my N900 on all the time when plugged in my car. really confusing.

weird... on my C7 it stays on for GPS i seem to remember...

The GPS stays on, why cannot anything else stay on?
