My Phone : Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
I think they got rid of this a while ago to stop people fiddling (my assumption, not based on any sort of fact) with really important system files… Because I remember C: coming up in the past on possibly my N82? Possibly N73 or N93… but I know it wasn't there on the N86, or my N8.
so now how could i reach it ?? :S :S
and are you sure of this , or do i have a kind of virus ??
because i need to add some files through the DATA file , but i was just like where the hell is my phone memory ,, please i need a reply ..
ive downloaded fexplorer to my n86 following instructions online to recover deleted smsl i open c:\ on phone browse system have no mail folder to open what i am doing wrong

There isn't one. The messages are stored under an application-specific folder under /private in phone memory (not visible/accessible), or if the mail application you are using stores them on the memory card, then under /profile on the memory card (not visible on the phone, but if you connect the phone in USB mass storage mode to a PC, and view hidden files, you can access /private folders from the PC).
Under /private, the files for an application are under the folder that correspond to the application's unique identifier (UID).
you cannot directly reach it through mass storage mode; and you can only view non-hidden files in c: in ovi suite mode.
So you can copy your files to e: and copy it to c: in the phone using apps like xplore, mobi explorer ana active file 😊
