problems when copy pasting to nokia chat (IM)

Hi , i was wondering if there is a way to copy and paste from something say opera( eg. links) into IM's text box. I am trying to copy a url address from opera to gtalk in the im and it doesn't work. I tried doing that by copying the url into a sms text box and then pasting it into the IM(gtalk, in this instance) and it still wouldn't paste.

I am on an n8 with swype activated(don't think that matters, but just in case)

If you're using Swype from Beta Labs and if you're trying to copy/paste in Opera using the Swype controls, that's where your problem may lie. Somebody else had the same problem:

thanks. I guess I will stick to swype for now. It is too useful a tool to uninstall/deactivate.
