Hi

I am the proud owner of a C7-00.

but recentely I had a problem ( tripple !!)
I installed a new program and something in the installation went wrong. So I was 'told'.
At the same time I lost all of the content of my E drive. Ships !!

the nokia went back to a NSP. They flashed the phone.

later on the problem rehearsed again. installing a new program, it went wrong and, bang, my E drive was empty. another flash

Triple time.
The phone is now back to Nokia.

Has anyone a idea.
Just a bad E-drive?
just a mondagmorning assent?
is is a known memory problem like the N97

You didn't mention what program you were installing ?
The N97 has problems with - too small - C: ( user storage ) and D: ( RAM ) drives . The C7-00 has got plenty of these .
It looks like your device has a faulty or corrupted E: ( Mass Storage ) drive . As you didn't refer to the F: ( Memory Card ) drive .
Turn it in under warranty and claim a replacement .

faulty phone. get a replacement under warranty, i've got a C7 and i install programmes left right and centre with no issue like this.
