I installed few applications on my mobile yesterday. And today I realized that there is an application that is accessing my 3g connection every 40 minutes or so.
I am not able to find as to what application is trying to use internet. Is there any way I can find that??
Loooong press the Menu/Home button and check what applications are open and find out ?

Already done. It isnt showing any running background applications.
Make yourself a little bit clearer . What symbols do you see changing every 40 minutes ? ( See attachment )
When you only see changing to the 3G symbol : the Phone is switching between 3G ( UMTS ) and GSM connection .
When you see changing the reverse arrows symbol : that will be the internet connection .
