N79 Ovi maps license code

The license fee for VOICE turn by turn guiding on older devices with Nokia Maps is $10 per year .
However all the other functions are free , including free worldwide Maps . You can download them to your device's memorycard (~ 4GB ) using Nokia PC Suite on your PC/Mac .
I used to navigate , by setting a favorite as destination , just using the screen . Of course this is a silent mode .

Tom Tom has discontinued support for Symbian handsets , I think allready in 2009 . Around the time free navigation with OVI Maps was introduced on newer Nokia hansets , however allso on the older E71 (produced 2007)

Try Sygic Mobile Maps instead , while they are up to date .
