I have my ymail.com email account set up as pop3 on my E7 and it has worked faultlessly for months. It's on a manual sync/check, and I bypassed the Nokia messaging thing during setup.
2 days ago it stopped syncing, it will connect to wi-fi/GSM, but won't give me the little green circle and a sync. Nothing I do can make it download emails.
I have a number of other pop3 email accounts set up on the device and they all continue to sync as normal.
So...I thought it was a yahoo problem, but my laptop client downloads the ymail pop3 emails just fine, and I also just set up an E72 with the account, and it also connects and syncs just fine too.
So...I assumed the problem lies with the E7, I deleted all the email accounts, re-booted, did the 8 second power button press, set up ymail again, still no sync. So last resort, I went for the delete and restore factory reset, set up ymail pop3 again, and it STILL won't sync.
Yes it's set up correctly (and has worked on E7 since purchase), and yes my ymail account has pop3 enabled.
Extremely frustrating....any ideas?
