Enabling writing aids
Applications, Miscellaneous S60 3rd EditionQ. On my Nokia E75, I'd like the same word correction and completion aids as on my friend's E71. How exactly do I turn these on?
A. Yes, there are so many settings on some of these S60 phones that some things can get a bit buried. It's not at all obvious, but head to 'Settings>Personalisation>Language'. You've then got the chance to turn on both predictive text and word completion for either or both the number keypad and the full qwerty keyboard. Predictive text is arguably the most useful, as this corrects silly spelling errors (where you've hit the wrong key in a word) on the fly. Very cool and it raises the E75 up into 40 words per minute territory if your fingers are nimble enough! Do watch out though, for problems if you input a lot of postcodes and other non-words, as the predictive text will make hay of them!
