Low light blur on N86 photos

Q. For a premium camera and camcorder smartphone, the Nokia N86 8MP (in my case) is proving disappointing – low light photos are blurred and not much better than those from other phones!

A. Blurry low light photos are to do with movement – either you as you snatch at the shutter button or of your subjects – either way, it's an issue with LED flash and the exposure time needed. You can help matters by practising being smooth with the shutter and keeping the phone steady for half a second after pressing down fully. And by not expecting walking/dancing subjects to be 'caught' – maybe you should have bought a second hand N82 after all? Or saved up for a new N8? – Xenon flash is just superb indoors, in club/pub conditions.
