Repeats that don't repeat!
Troubleshooting S60 3rd Edition, S60 5th EditionQ. I'm trying to set up some repeated entries in S60 Calendar, to remind me of various weekly chores, but even though I mark them in the dialog as repeated 'Weekly', after pressing 'Done' they get changed back to 'Not repeated'. What's going on?
A. This catches a lot of people out. If you look at the next line in the dialog (you may need to scroll down a little to see it), the one below 'Repeated' is 'Repeat until' and, for various reasons known only to the boffins at Nokia, this defaults to the entry's date, not to 'Forever' (or even a month or year from the current date), which would seem a lot more logical. Therefore, when setting a repeat, remember to press 'down' on the d-pad afterwards and give it a sensible end date for the repeat. You'll find that there's then scope for repeats to occur and that things work in Calendar as expected.
