Why can't I store my images?

Q. I'm trying to use Nokia's PC Suite Image Store facility, to put my photos onto my PC hard disk, but I keep getting 'An error occurred during transfer'. Syncing works fine, so what could be wrong?

A. The answer, almost certainly, is that you've got Gallery open on your S60 smartphone, with an image open 'on screen' (even if the application itself is in the background). Gallery locks the image, not surprisingly, to stop something else deleting it.

Simply back out of the image and close Gallery, then try the Image Store 'Store now' function again. It should work!
