Why do I still need a mains charger?

Q. With my new Nokia N85 now using USB charging, why do I still need a mains charger? This phone came with both!

A. USB charging is nice to have and convenient for many people, but the USB port on your PC usually can't offer enough current to fast charge a phone. A mains charger should be your primary charging method, with USB providing a little extra 'trickle' charge when you're hooked up for data transfers anyway.
